What is the Smoke-free policy?

How do I book 10 or more rooms?
It’s easy to book a group of 10 rooms or more for your gathering. Simply follow the steps on our booking page—be sure to indicate whether you’ll also require meeting space and we’ll be in touch with you to arrange the details of your stay. Book your group
What’s an RFP?
RFP is short for Request for Proposal. When you submit an RFP, you’re requesting that Marriott provide you with availability and a price quote for services. For example, availability and a price quote for a banquet room or catering.
What is a block of rooms or a group of rooms?
A block of rooms and a group of rooms are synonymous. They refer to the total number of sleeping rooms (at least 10) used by one group.
How large of a group of rooms can I reserve online?
You may reserve up to 25 sleeping rooms each night for your meeting or event online. If you need more than 25 rooms, submit an RFP, contact the desired hotel or call Marriott group sales at 800-831-4004.
May I reserve meeting space or catering online?
No. You can however request meeting space or other event-related services online. To do this, please submit an RFP.
Is blocking group rooms the same as reserving rooms for individual attendees?
No. When you block a group of rooms, the hotel agrees to set aside a predetermined number of hotel rooms for your guests. To complete the reservation we need the names of individual guests. So either you must contact the hotel with a rooming list or each guest must contact the hotel directly.
What is a cut-off date?
A cut-off date is the designated date that a hotel will release your group of rooms to the general public. To avoid losing rooms, you must finalize individual room reservations prior to the cut-off date. The cut-off date is 30 days prior to the arrival date.
Do members of my group need to confirm their hotel reservations?
Yes. Unless you provide the hotel with a rooming list, each guest must contact Marriott and make their room reservation within your group of blocked rooms.
What type of rooms will guests receive?
At the group room rate, guests will receive either a single room (1 king or queen bed) or a double room (2 double or queen beds). Guests can request either room type, however, rooms will ultimately be assigned based on availability at arrival.
What does the rate include?
The rate is the cost of each individual room per night. Taxes and fees are extra. The total cost of each room is provided with the final reservation.
What does a Group Sales Agreement explain and what does it mean to accept a Group Sales Agreement?
In addition to explaining the services to be provided by your requested hotel, the Group Sales Agreement also outlines various hotel policies, including attrition guidelines (attrition relates to rooms used). For instance: If you cancel after the designated cut-off date, you will be required to pay a portion of the price for your total group of rooms. Also, if guests don’t show up, you are still responsible for the original number of rooms blocked. By accepting the Group Sales Agreement, you agree to accept its outlined rules.
What happens after I confirm my group of rooms?
If you’ve requested hotel rooms only, you’ve completed the process. If you’ve requested meeting space or rooms that will occupy 3 or more people, a representative from the selected hotel will contact you within 1 business day to discuss details of your request, including:

  • Group Sales Agreement details
  • Individual guest reservations
  • Methods of payment
Why can’t I get a group-rate quote for a meeting that starts 2 days from now?
We are unable to offer group-rate quotes for events within 4 days of arrival or more than 1 year in advance of arrival. For assistance regarding these time frames, please submit an RFP.
Why can’t I get a group-rate quote for all Marriott hotels?
At this time, group-rate quotes are only available from select hotels. In addition, quotes are not provided by hotels for events within 4 days of arrival or more than 1 year in advance of arrival. For assistance regarding these time frames, please submit an RFP.
May I still make changes to my request after accepting my group agreement?
Yes. You may make changes within 24 hours of accepting your group agreement. However, a change request may also change the rates and availability initially agreed upon.
Will I need a credit card to guarantee rooms?
Yes. However, your credit card will not be charged at this time. It is only required to confirm/guarantee your reservation.
Is it safe to use my credit card on your Web site?
Yes. Provided that you are using an SSL enabled browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator, your credit card data is transferred over a Secured Sockets Layer (SSL). This ensures that your information is encrypted as it travels over the Internet. This secure mode is enabled before any such information is transmitted from your computer.
